Promoting the Celebration of Excellence

The Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, commissioned Djembe to provide media relations and influencer engagement support in order to generate awareness of two major initiatives to reinforce their position as one of the leading business hotels in Ghana.

To support the Hotel winning the Excellence in Hospitality award at the Ghana Expatriate Business Awards, Djembe developed and executed a social media plan, influencer and media relations campaign which resulted in extensive coverage and buzz around the award win.

As part of the Movenpick’s ‘A kilo of Kindness’ campaign, whereby the hotel’s guests, partners and stakeholders are encouraged to donate at least one kilo of food, clothing and educational supplies to the less fortunate and those in need, Djembe was tasked to secure a series of interviews in top-tier local media, giving the hotel the opportunity to publicise its global CSR initiative.

  • Developed digital content for the hotel to post on its social media platforms
  • Organized exclusive interviews with tier-one local media to publicise the Kilo of Kindness campaign
