Driving Female Entrepreneurship

The SheTrades initiative by the International Trade Centre (ITC) is connecting three million women entrepreneurs to regional markets. The initiative provides women entrepreneurs and women-owned SMEs with capacity building training and access to a ITFC’s unique regional network.

In December 2019, ITFC, formed an alliance with ITC to create and launch the SheTrades Morocco Chapter.

Other local partners and supporting organizations included the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency (AMDIE), Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Morocco (AFEM), National Federation of Agro Food (FENAGRI) and the Fédération des Industries de Conserve des Produits Agricoles du Maroc (FICOPAM).

Strategic Execution by Djembe

  • Supported the MoU event via a North Africa-wide media announcement as well as a series strategic interviews with key spokespeople from ITFC and local Ministries and associations
  • Aligned all social media posts with the official announcement
  • Maintained a constant flow of initiative updates through social media testimonials
